"Pay" Baker's Fine (Donate to Providence House)

Donation protected
Update #1: While we may not be able to pay the fine, I'm sure us Browns fans would love to donate this sum to a charity of Baker's choice once the goal has been reached!

Update #2: Hi everyone. I am unbelievably grateful for all of the donations to the GoFundMe Campaign. While we won't be able to pay his fine, I plan on partnering with a Cleveland charity to donate the money to in Baker's name. I have reached out and am looking to hear back from them ASAP. More details will come.

That being said, I will be updating the campaign page with updates and also continue to collect donations for the next week (Until 1/6/19). In the meantime, I encourage you all to continue to keep spreading the word and donating towards this wonderful cause. It has been such a fun Browns season. Let's end 2018 on an amazing note, and start 2019 feelin' dangerous.

Update #3: Hi everyone. All proceeds from our donations to "pay" Baker Mayfield's fine are going to go to Providence House. Located in the Cleveland area, Providence House protects at-risk children and supports families through crisis, strengthening communities to end child abuse and neglect.

We are just shy of eclipsing the 2,000 dollar mark on our campaign in less than 2 days. The campaign will be left open until next Sunday (01/06/19). Following that, the campaign will come to a close.

I encourage all of you to keep donating so we can work to make a positive impact in the Cleveland community and start 2019 off in an awesome way.

Please feel free to keep continuing to share the link and spreading the word of this campaign. I appreciate the efforts of each and everyone of you, and I am beyond thankful that us Browns fans have been able to raise this money for this charity.

Thank you and have a Happy New Year.

Update #4: Hi everyone !

Baker Mayfield tweeted about our campaign. How awesome is that! I hope we can raise a ton of money to help out Providence House! This is so surreal and awesome that we can work together to do this for our community.

Let's keep it going!!!

Our beloved franchise quarterback, Baker Reagan Mayfield, was fined $10,026 by the NFL following the Browns win on Sunday against the Bengals for his sideline celebration following a touchdown.

As a Browns fan, we understand that Baker was just feeling dangerous after his touchdown. I am campaigning for Browns fans to come together and pay for his fine as a thank you for the joy that he has brought back to our fan base. We're all feeling dangerous here in Cleveland....GO BROWNS!

--------

My name is Johnathan Hillbery and I am a recent Kent State University graduate with a love for all things Cleveland sports, especially the Browns. I am from North Olmsted, OH and have lived in Northeast Ohio my entire life.

I have no direct affiliation with either Baker Mayfield, the Cleveland Browns, or Providence House. I am simply a Cleveland Browns fan who created this out of fandom for the team. I decided to contact Providence House due to the relationship that they have already established with Mayfield.

The funds will be donated to Providence House, which helps at-risk children and supports families going through a crisis in Ohio.

The campaign will end on end of day 01/06/19 (Sunday). Funds will then be withdrawn by Providence House's Finance Director.
