Help Support Our Local Middleburg Grumpy's

First, I would like to thank our local Clay County Community for the outpour of love and prayers that you all have extended to our local Middleburg Grumpy's, their staff, and the entire Hoard family. They have felt every bit of your support.

On January 19, 2022, we learned and watched our brand new local hometown restaurant go up in flames. Dell & Courtney and the rest of their family are beyond devastated. The fire that broke out into the year-old restaurant has left extensive damage. There is no timeline at this point as to when they will be able to reopen and get their work-family back to work.

Dell & Courtney fought through the obstacles of covid to initially open their restaurant. They pushed through the challenges of opening a new business, worked hard, and sacrificed time with their small children as they continued to build their dream. Our Middleburg Grumpy's quickly became a loved spot for excellent and unique breakfast and lunch entrees, a warm and friendly place to gather, with a staff that genuinely cares.

I'm calling on our community to help Grumpy's and support their staff as they are out of work for an unseen amount of time.  We know they are strong and resilient. With the help of our community, we can help get our favorite breakfast/lunch spot back open.
