Raise Money For Chris Nicholl
Former Walsall manager Chris Nicholl is
currently fighting dementia, a truly horrible
disease.
Three weeks ago the former Aston Villa and
Southampton player was presented with a
tracking watch by ISSA (Independent Saddlers
Supporters Association) and former players. The watch was funded by the PFA which allows
alerts to be sent when he leaves “safe zones” or
to track him. It also helps Chris to call someone
should he need help or assistance.
On Thursday afternoon Chris Nicholl was
sadly robbed of his watch in Bloxwich, Walsall
and sadly no one has come forward with the
said watch. The matter has been reported to the police, unfortunately the watch wasn’t insured
so the expensive watch needs to be replaced as
soon as possible.
To replace the said watch, ISSA and former
players have had to use the money they had
raised for Chris golfing clothes. Chris loves a
game of golf!
Lets raise money to get Chris the golfing clothes and any additional money raised will be given to
Chris to help him during these testing times.
We will present the clothing to Chris on a Fridayor Saturday night at the Railway Club - details
will be released in due course.
Let’s do our bit for a true legend of the game
during a horrible time!
