Dear Friends,
Emilia is going to Stanford!!Emilia’s surgery is scheduled for April and we are so happy and grateful to allof you! Emilia recently received a government grant from Poland that providedthe funding necessary to finally reach our goal of getting Emilia her heartsurgery here in the U.S.
Thank you so much for everyone’sdonations and generosity here, because we couldn’t have done it without you! Yourhelp here has made it possible to provide Emilia and her parents with the meansnecessary to come to Stanford and give their daughter the life-saving surgery andtreatment that she needs.
We again thank you for your prayers, and wonderful thoughts throughout this time and continue to keep Emilia in yourthoughts and prayers as she comes to Stanford and undergoes surgery.
Thank you again to all of you!
My name is Lucjan and I am fundraising for my niece, Emilia Wilk, who needs a lifesaving heart surgery in the United States. The cost of surgery in the United States is over 1.4 million dollars. Please read her story and donate to help save Emilia’s life!
Emilia was born in July of 2021 in Poland with the severe heart defect: Tetralogy of Fallot, pulmonary artery valve artesia, extreme hypoplasia of the pulmonary trunk and pulmonary arteries. This defect is life threatening, and in Poland, Emilia’s only option is a series of multiple surgeries that will prolong her life and suffering, but will never fully cure her. The only place where Emilia’s heart can be fully corrected is at a clinic in Stanford in the United States.
Emilia is a strong and beautiful girl who has been fighting for her life since the day she was born. Emilia is currently recovering from an urgent cardiac surgical intervention that took place at the University Children’s Hospital in Krakow. But Emilia’s heart is still in critical condition and we have been told the surgery in Stanford must occur in 5 months at the latest.
We have to raise an enormous amount of money in such little time, so we are calling on all of you to help. My family will fight for Emilia everyday and we are asking you to join this fight. Emilia is a happy child, despite the pain and suffering she has already experienced in her first few months of life. She enjoys every second in this world and wants a chance to live!
The money raised here will help pay for Emilia’s surgery in the United States. Please share Emilia’s story with as many people so everyone knows who our brave Emilia is.
We thank you all for your donations and are grateful for your help in our fight to help save Emilia’s life!
