Let's Save Professor Edmund Mugabi Bukenya

Dr. E.E. Mugabi Bukenya is a Professor of Anatomy, at Kabale University medical school, Uganda. He just turned 80 years old.

Heart surgery is to be done at Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi, Kenya. Currently, he has already been admitted there in preparation for this surgery.

Professor Edmund Mugabi Bukenya has been an anatomy lecturer since 1981 and has contributed significantly to the training of both Human and Veterinary doctors in Uganda, Rwanda and the Republic of South Africa where he taught University students in various universities. In Uganda, he taught longest at Makerere University in the Faculty of Veterinary medicine.

He was nominated as one of the top 100 scientists in Uganda in 2022. He is one of less than 10 anatomy PhD holders in Uganda.
