Lets Send Travis and Hannah to Life2022

Hi, this is Travis and Hannah Carey. We want to share with you about a great opportunity coming up this summer that we are extremely excited about and have been waiting for with great anticipation! It is our LIFE Conference which comes along once every three years, and is put on by the Christian and Missionary Alliance specifically for high school students. This week is packed with powerful worship sessions, deep and meaningful lessons from well-known speakers who will challenge and push our faith, break out time to discuss and pray together, as well as incredible opportunities to connect with other Alliance students and have a blast growing together in sunny Florida.

We are just 2 of hopefully many students from Westgate Chapel (Hannah) and Black Forest Academy (Travis) who will be driving and flying, and setting out July 4 to Orlando, FL with anticipation as to what God may do when over 6,000 students from all across the country come together to be challenged and equipped to follow God’s call on our lives.

We are very excited and nervous about this adventure. Living overseas as missionary kids we very rarely have an opportunity to be in an environment with so many others who are like-minded and seeking to grow in their spiritual journey. Not to mention that we will get to do this in English, which is not so normal for us while living in Germany.

We've heard amazing stories from others who have had the opportunity to be at Life in the past and are hopeful that our story and experience there will be just as fruitful.

In addition to letting you know about this opportunity, I wanted to humbly present 2 ways in which you can show your support. Please consider doing more than one if you are able!

1. Will you become a prayer partner? You can start praying now, that God would prepare me for these experiences, and that all necessary funds would be raised. In being a prayer partner, I am counting on you to lift me up in prayer each day July 4-9. This is no small request, but is an urgent need, for Jesus said often and, in many ways, “Apart from Me you can do nothing.” (Jn 15:5)

2. Would you consider making a donation to us here on this page that will go 100% toward our trip expenses? The LIFE Conference with registration, travel, meals, and stay comes to $1,100 per person.($2,200 total) We are looking for some friends who see the value in these experiences for our growth and who are willing to make an investment in lives and our Journey with Christ. We can’t wait to share stories about what God accomplished through our time at LIFE 2022, but before that can happen, we need to get there. Would you consider supporting us for $10, $25, or another amount? Truly any amount will be an encouragement and play a part in helping us reach our goal.
