Let's Show Bill & Nancy Bright Our Love

Hello. My name is Shar and I'm part of a Team fundraising for our dear friends, Bill & Nancy Bright. We have known Bill & Nancy since we were teenagers and barely remember a time when they weren’t part of our lives.

Bill fractured his ankle and was taken to the hospital for a series of tests & X-rays. Sadly, the bone marrow test found that he has Acute Myeloid Leukemia, which is an aggressive disease that will require aggressive treatments.

Bill was taken by ambulance to City of Hope Cancer Center in Los Angeles, the very next day. Nancy followed behind the ambulance so that she could be at the hospital with Bill.

Bill will be receiving care at City of Hope for several weeks. He would like Nancy to stay by his side for the duration of his treatments. City of Hope has a new hotel for patients & loved ones. However, it is only available to outpatients.

Bill is a military Veteran having faithfully served his country. He is also a consummate musician playing harmonica at many different venues throughout the Central Coast. Bill is well known for his kindness and compassion and has always supported others in times of need.

Now it's our turn to rally around Bill and provide the love, encouragement, and financial assistance he needs to overcome this aggressive disease.

Please help us raise enough funds to allow Bill & Nancy to be together during the most challenging time of their lives. They will also need help to cover medical bills, any unforeseen costs they are sure to face and anything else to ease their stress and make life easier for our Bill & Nancy.
