Medical care and support for John Gannon.
John Gannon has been working at Gulfstream Park as a poker cashier since June of 2009. Recently, John suffered two major strokes which have left him unable to return to work.
(Out of deep respect for John, we will not go into detail about his health, other than to say he has a long period of recovery ahead)
His work family at Gulfstream Park decided to create this page in hopes to ease his financial burdens and allow him to focus on his recovery.
John is a kind hearted, easy-going person who is loved by his coworkers and customers. He has been a good friend/coworker to all those around him. He asks for nothing, never calls out, and is always on time... up until he started having health issues.  We know John would love nothing more than to return to work, but sadly he cannot. A sudden loss of income can weigh heavy on a person and even become detrimental to their recovery process.
With a collective effort we can SURPRISE John, hopefully lessening his financial burdens so he can focus on getting well.
