Let’s show Schelin some LOVE
Donation protected
I am writing this on behalf of our dear friend, mother and sister, Schelin Molica.
As most of you are aware, Schelin has been in end stage renal failure for years. Her first kidney was graciously given to her by bad ass sister Linda in January 2012. Schelin affectionately named her Pinky. Unfortunately, Pinky started to get tired a few years ago, so the mission to keep Schelin alive and well resurfaced and she was put back on the donor list.
On Oct 12th, Schelin received a shocking call from ECMC that said they had a kidney for her. Schelin had a half hour to make the life altering decision and get to Buffalo immediately. She arrived at ECMC and was moved into her room. She was told that once the kidney arrived, they would wheel her into the OR to then determine if it would be a match. She waited hours for this part; full of anxiety, second guessing, fear, panic and so much prayer. Schelin obviously received a new kidney that evening, he was named Kenny.
Unfortunately, Schelin has had a series of medical set backs that have been caused directly by the new kidney. KENNY HAS NOT BEEN KIND TO HER! Schelin found herself back in ECMC for an extended time period, and she was finally able to return home on Friday, November 11th. These unexpected set backs have left Schelin without income for at least 3 months, and that is the reason we’d LOVE to shower our girl with love, support, prayers and any financial donations that you are able to make. Any amount would be appreciated, I promise.
We know Schelin holds a special place in so many hearts. Let’s show her how loved she is! ❤️
