Let's show some love for the Lowes!

Sometimes things don't go as planned. And they sure have not in Kim's case. When I set up this fundraiser, we had no idea how sideways things were going to go.

It's been over 2 months since her heart and liver transplants. She is in extremely critical condition now. Her only hope is to now have a second heart transplant.

Her family has been 10 hours from home, and Kim has remained in the ICU much longer than they expected when they left.

Thank you so much to all who have already donated. If you feel led, anything will help. It's a small but tangible way to help them out.

And if you can't donate financially, Kim needs all the prayers she can get.

Many of you know that one of my very best friends, Kim Lowe, is on the wait list for a heart transplant. She will be admitted to Mayo hospital soon, so they can keep her heart in better shape while she waits.

I don't know about you, but being admitted to a hospital on the other side of the country indefinitely sounds pretty scary. There is a lot of other stuff involved, like renting a house up there, travel for her husband, Zak, daughter, Reagan, and her parents. She will also have to live up there at least 3 months post-transplant, so it could be quite a long time.

To help with the expenses of having two house payments, food, travel, etc., donations would be so helpful. Any amount helps! This will go straight to Kim and Zak.

There is so much stress on their family right now, and even if we can only make a small dent, they will know they are being thought of and loved!

If you know Kim, you KNOW she'd do this for anyone else! Let's show her and her family some love! And please, if nothing else, keep them in your prayers.
