Help Meghan Kick Cancer's Butt!!

If you are reading this it is because is some way, shape or form Meghan has touched your life. She is a bright sparkle of sunshine to all who know her, and she is always the very first to jump in when anyone needs support, love, or encouragement. Now, as her community of friends and family, we have the opportunity rally around her and return the love she so graciously has shown all of us.

 

A few weeks ago, Meghan was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of breast cancer called Triple Negative Invasive Ductal Carcinoma… click HERE to learn more. There are still so many unknowns in the process but here is what we know right now:

 

Her cancer is currently stage three. She has a tumor in her right breast and the cancer has to spread to her lymph nodes. She will have a PET and bone scan done in the coming weeks and will begin an aggressive regimen of chemotherapy this coming Thursday, which will continue for 24 weeks. Once her chemo treatments end she will have surgery to remove the remains (if any) of the tumor or possibly a double mastectomy- depending on if she is a carrier for the a specific gene related to this cancer. The last step of this process will be radiation treatment and immunotherapy.

 

I know we all want to help Meghan and one of the best ways we can do that is to remove any stress or worry she may be feeling on the finical front. We need her to focus on one thing only which is kicking cancer’s butt.

 

Here are just a few ways this Go Fund me page will support her through this journey:

 

• Medical expenses not covered by insurance including her deductible and out of pocket maximum.

• Hiring a weekly cleaning service

• Hiring weekly lawn care service (once it warms up)

• Food delivery services

• Care for her fur babies (Sunday, Minnow and Foxy)

• Any additional expenses or needs that arise.
