Frickley Athletics Westfield Lane Stadium (AKA The Wezziecana AKA la vecchia Signora) is a thing of beauty - we're all agreed on that
Every off season the stadium needs some TLC to keep it looking its best for the season ahead - this year is no different
We are about to start work on the necessary jobs that need doing & so we are putting a call out for donations to cover the costs of the materials that we need to purchase - such as paint (for the perimeter fencing) paintbrushes & concrete - plus other materials that we will no doubt need to buy as we go along
The Wezzie is very much a community asset - it's more than just the home for the first team - our under 23s, our academy teams & other community teams regularly play there & we host other community events during the year
So we're calling on the good people of SESKU, & beyond. to help us out if you can - no donation is too small
If you're can't afford to donate - you can help us out in other ways - such as:
- donations of materials (especially paintbrushes, sand & cement or readimix concrete)
- donations of your time (we will be putting out information about how you can volunteer to help with the works)
- spreading the word - maybe your workplace fancy a 'team bonding' session for instance or you could just share this fundraiser with your networks of family, friends & colleagues
Let's get the stadium looking its best, something for us all to be proud of
