Let’s Stand with Dan & Amber Kilmer!

Hello, my name is Kaitlyn Kilmer and I am fundraising on behalf of my father. Our loved husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle, and friend has been fighting medical issues since 2021. In June of 2021, He had a heart attack that led to a triple bypass. Then he had a pulmonary embolism to the lung and an internal bleed. They then decided to place a IVC filter to prevent any more blood clots. After his heart attack, he went through rehab to regain strength and clear the blood clots in his legs.

Just last year in May of 2023, he had a DBS (Deep Brain Stimulator) inserted for tremors. During the procedure, he experienced a hemorrhagic stroke (brain bleed) which led to a seizure. He spent 10 days in the ICU and in total, he spent 25 days in the hospital . Apon being discharged from the hospital, they noticed recurring blood clots in the legs. Since then, he has been fighting development blood clots in his legs and has been using a lipidemia pump.

Dan was doing well until June 12th, 2024 at 6:00 a.m, when he suffered multiple seizures and was admitted to the hospital for treatments. Due to the seizures, he is unable to return to work for atleast six months and will not be able to drive as well. If anyone who knows my Father, they know that he will bend over backwards to give his shirt off his back to anyone in need.

The suddenness of this situation has flipped our world upside down in a moment notice. At this time, We are asking for any donations that you can afford. They will be greatly appreciated. All proceeds will be going towards medical expenses, family needs, bills, and loss of wages during this difficult time.
