Let’s Support Andrea Santora!

My name is Karen Schaberg and I would like to fundraise for my dear friend Andrea Santora whom I’ve known for about 40 years. She was just diagnosed with breast cancer Her2+ stage 3 .I am a breast cancer survivor myself but my diagnosis was much less severe. Andrea is facing at least 6 mo of chemotherapy before surgery is considered for her now 8 cm tumor. Andrea is a fellow violinist who also teaches strings in Sparta. She will not be able to run her summer string camp and will undoubtedly have to turn down a bit of summer weddings and other free lancing that would have gotten her through the summer. Let me tell you more about Andrea. She is the kind of person that would run and help someone in need without a second thought. She has raised a wonderful daughter completely by herself. A girl who is cognitively and physically affected by Glut 1 deficiency. Her former spouse has reluctantly been providing for his daughter with $400 a month for 21 years. Andrea has no family left who can financially help her. I am in awe of how she has been such a great mother with absolutely no help while being so kind hearted, funny and resourceful. She even started her own art Santora Artwear. She has given so much of herself to others. Please consider helping my friend out.
