Let's Support Artie Reed in His Time of Need

Hi. My name is Lorna Henderson. I'm a friend of Artie Reed's going all the way back to grade school. We reconnected a few years ago after I heard about a book he published featuring all kinds of familiar landmarks.

I am reaching out on behalf of many to help support our dear friend who urgently needs our support. Artie is a cherished member of the Cuyahoga Falls community, beloved for his extensive involvement and his generous spirit. A proud graduate of St. Joseph's Grade School and Cuyahoga Falls High School, Artie has continually dedicated himself to enriching his hometown.

Unfortunately, Artie has been facing significant health challenges which began with sepsis which put him in a coma for a few weeks, then pneumonia, heart attack and PTSD all within the past year. These illnesses have resulted in him spending a significant amount of time in the hospital. To compound his difficulties, a recent car accident has left him without a vehicle, severely impacting his ability to work and further straining his financial situation.

At this incredibly tough time, Artie needs more than just moral support; he needs our financial assistance. I am starting this GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate the immense financial burden he is experiencing, assist in reducing his debt and possibly securing a car. Your donation can make a big difference in helping Artie navigate this crisis and get back on his feet.

Throughout his life, Artie has positively impacted our community by leading support programs for those struggling with PTSD to promoting the landmarks of Cuyahoga Falls and Summit County through his writing. He regularly donates portions of the sales from his Rubber City Caper series to The Humility of Mary Charity. His kindness and dedication are palpable and have made a lasting impact on many lives.
