Let’s support Gerry and Lesley

As most of you know, Gerry has been battling cancer for a couple years now. The amazing news of his cancer being “cured” was short lived when recently they found nodules in his lungs and determined it was stage 4. He continued to work while undergoing immunotherapy which they were told would be his best treatment option. Unfortunately, this treatment began attacking his organs, leading to two recent hospitalizations and leaving him unable to continue to work. He has now made the difficult decision to resign from his job to focus on his health and family. He has loved his many years of caring for the people he worked for and this decision was made with a very heavy heart.

Lesley has been caring for Gerry this whole time and has been unable to work on a consistent basis as well. They are going to continue to apply for financial assistance but this is typically a lengthy process so they are exploring any and all other options. We want to help out in any way that we can to ease some of the burden during this difficult time.

To know Gerry is to love him. He is the kindest soul who would do anything for anybody. We have all been blessed to have him in our lives.

We have decided to keep this gofundme page private from them at this time because they are not the kind of people who would ever ask for this type of help but they ARE the kind of people who deserve it.
