Let's Support Mendi

Mendi is awesome!   Cancer sucks!
She's a bartender at Shortfields in Simpsonville, and she's a friend to everyone that walks in. She listens and pays attention to everyone's stories, and she cares what you have to say. Go back and talk to her a couple of weeks later and Mendi remembers it all, and she will continue to talk with you wants to hear the updates. We are important to her, and she is always there for us.

 

Outside of work, she is an awesome mother to her four kids and her grandson. She works hard and always makes time to spend with her kids because that's what she loves most.

 

It's our turn to return the love and be there for Mendi. She's recently been diagnosed with cancer, and thankfully she can be treated and get through it. But it won't be easy physically, emotionally or financially.

 

So we, her friends, want to raise money to help her. If you go to Shortfields, please consider giving her a donation. If she receives a donation from every customer she serves, this will be an easy goal to reach.

 

(Mendi wasn't aware we were doing this for her, and she probably wouldn't have let us. All the money received will go to Chip Jones, her soul mate and significant other. He will take care of her needs and all the medical bills.)
