Let's Support Mrs. Q's Healing Process

Mrs. Q (Frances Quevedo) has been the face of St. John School for over 30 years. Mrs. Q has been working hard to recover from serious medical conditions for just over one year. Although costs are covered partially by insurance, her share of the expense of these treatments is mounting. The last thing a person in this position needs is financial stress, so it is our hope that we can assist her.

Mrs. Q reluctantly retired last year. The faculty and staff, parents, and especially the children have always been of utmost importance to her. St. John did not always have the benefit of a school nurse. Mrs. Q was the school nurse along with everything else she did for the community. Children were in good hands with her, whether they needed a bag of ice, treatment for a skinned knee, calming while waiting for an ambulance, or hugging away bruised feelings. Mrs. Q loved each and every child. I'm sure many students have wonderful memories of her time at St. John.

It is our hope that, through this GoFundMe the financial stress of the treatments can be somewhat alleviated and Mrs. Q can put all of her energy into healing. Thank you for considering any donation. It will be received in love. (Can't you hear her beautiful laugh?)
