Let's support Tamika's recovery!

On Friday September 22nd, Tamika suffered a stroke in two parts of her brain. She is at Kaiser Oakland, and expects to be there for at least a few more days. They are still running tests to try to better understand what happened, and they think she may have had undetected symptoms for some time.

Tamika is going to need speech therapy and time for her cognitive functions to regrow. She still has dizziness and a headache, and talking and thinking/planning strategically are difficult. But she is in good spirits and is very happy to be alive. [Side note that she looks amazing - which I didn't think was possible at the hospital!] Aside from the dizziness, her body is mostly good and she can type and text well. Her heart is good. She does expect to be able to dance again eventually.

Tamika needs our support for medical and other bills while she recovers. This is going to take some time. Please consider making a contribution at any level.
