Hi all! We all love and want the best for our friend 'Big Bird' aka Kathy. As many of you know she was diagnosed with a non-working liver at a young age. She was fortunate to receive a matching donor about 16 years ago when she had her first liver transplant. Not long after that surgery it was discovered that the liver donated was also diseased. She has remained healthy enough over the years, but since has been seeing the effects of the bad liver. She is currently under the care of the hospital, awaiting the call for a matching donor. We are all praying that happen soon! In the meantime there has been many people helping out with their time as well as travel expenses going back and forth from Vancouver. This GoFundMe is to help with those expenses of caregivers and to ensure when we get the call, that Lyle and the girls are taking care of so they can be by her side. Every little bit helps!
