Let’s support Vasher with the loss of his father, Ose Edebor

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of beloved father, son, brother, friend and community member, Ose Edebor. This news is shocking and devastating to so many, but especially to Ose’s cherished son, Vasher.

As Ose said often, Vasher was his greatest gift, and he found great joy in witnessing Vasher’s countless successes in the classroom and on the field. They had a playful and sometimes playfully competitive relationship enjoying time spent bowling, gaming, but above all their ongoing college sports rivalry was a central part of their relationship. Vasher, as many of you know, is a passionate Kansas fan, and Ose a die-hard Longhorn. Their trash talk was always spirited and entertaining, and the sweetness of that playful relationship will be missed. We find some comfort in recognizing that Ose’s competitive nature and love of sports will forever live on in Vasher.
