Let's Surround Laura and Scott with Our Love and Support!

My name is Lucy Braun. I am creating this GoFundMe page for my sister, Laura Muellner, who has been diagnosed with stage 3 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Laura and her husband, Scott, have spent the past year traveling from Duluth, MN to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for Laura's need of specialized care. It was there, a month ago, while being treated for other health issues, they discovered the cancer. At this time, they are in need of financial support as Laura's treatment for the cancer needs to be administered and supervised at Mayo Clinic. They will be traveling 460 miles round trip every 20 days to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN from Duluth, MN for 6 months. The cost of gas, motels, and restaurants at this time has created a real hardship. Laura and her husband, Scott, have always been there to help others in their time of need. Everyone who knows them will attest to that. From taking numerous needy folks into their home and treating them like family, to reaching out and helping meet the needs of their community and church. When a need arose, they were always the first to jump in and help, not asking anything in return. Through the years, Laura has reached out and taken under her wing many young people who needed love and guidance. Her unconditional love, acceptance, and genuine care for them has impacted their lives in a positive way forever. Laura and her husband, Scott, have selflessly reached out to meet the needs of so many in our community through the years. Now they are in need of the support of that community, friends, and family. If anyone is deserving of help during this critical season, it is Laura and Scott Muellner.
