Let's Taco-bout a New Contract!

Hello! We are a dedicated group of friends from the Our Flag Means Death fandom. Over the past few weeks, the OFMD fandom has stood firmly in support of the ongoing WGA writers strike at the WB lot. It is our heartfelt mission to ensure that the talented individuals behind the show, who work tirelessly to bring us captivating stories, are not only well-fed and supported but also know just how much their exceptional work is valued and cherished.

Our group have been scheduled the June 1st lunch shift. As we all know, June 1st is the first day of Pride Month! Additionally, it marks the 30th day of the 2023 WGA writers strike, the end of a month of efforts by WGA writer's to demand well-deserved improvements in their contracts.

In celebration, we are trying to organize an EXTRA SPECIAL lunch for them. Our ultimate goal is to provide a Taco truck, however depending on availability and amount raised the cuisine may be changed. We are asking for donations to fund this special event. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact. Additionally, we kindly ask you to share this GoFundMe campaign with others, spreading the word far and wide to maximize our collective support.

We've upped the donation goal to try to feed more writers, and possibly add Ice Cream to the menu! Any leftover funds will be used for future writer's strike meals. If the strike ends before June 1st, funds will be donated to an LGBTQ+ charity.
