Let’s Try Help Yvonne

Hi my name is Lyndsey Cummins,

The Reason why I started up this goFundme page is for my good friend Yvonne Guest Suffered a severe stroke on the 13th of November 2024, luckily Yvonne made it to hospital on time for prompt medical treatment. Yvonne lost her speech and all power on the left hand side of her body and the power to swallow.

Yvonne was in hospital for weeks on end recovering, whilst the doctor’s were trying to establish the cause of the blood clot at such a young age.

Thankfully all power has returned for Yvonne, it will take some time for Yvonne to get back on her feet mentally and physically.

Yvonne is working tirelessly with the doctors on her recovery and as you can imagine it will take time for the brain to heal and for Yvonne to return to full strength again.

Yvonne has a local business in the Balbriggan as most of you know, and for some of you that don’t, Yvonne runs a business called Mayflower Vintage, Yvonne herself is super creative and arranges beautiful flowers for all occasions, and also sells beautiful gifts. This shop is Yvonnes pride and joy.

Yvonne has missed 3 months at work and to date has been footing all the business bills of rent ,rates etc which is amounting to alot,

As she is a self employed sole trader she is entitled to no social welfare assistance

We all miss Mayflower & Yvonne’s flowers so hopefully with our help she will be back up and running soon.

I know it's a hard time on everyone at the minute, if there is any small donation you could offer it would really be appreciated.
