Let's Unite for Zoe Suder’s Fight

Hi, my name is Tera Trekas; I am fundraising on behalf of the Suder/Buller family for my beautiful niece, Zoe, as she faces the biggest battle of her life. Zoe is a determined and fierce, 15-year-old student-athlete with a contagious and bubbly personality. She is an extraordinarily driven young lady and she is loyally dedicated to the success of achieving all her personal goals. Zoe lives and breathes soccer and plays for Tudela Football Club Los Angeles. Zoe is also a member of the varsity girls soccer team at Beverly Hills High School. She has already drawn the attention of college scouts and participated in US Soccer’s, Player Development Program. Her unwavering dedication to her beloved sport has made her the talented, standout athlete she is today. On October 13th, 2022, Zoe was seen for what everyone thought was a sports-related injury. The conversations and concerns surrounding this injury changed from rehabbing a hip and knee in Physical Therapy, to bone tumor, sarcoma, and chemotherapy. The days since have been a whirlwind of appointments, tests, scans, planning, prayers, and uncertainty. We’ve learned that this cancer is aggressive and requires an equally aggressive treatment plan that starts immediately. We are certain that Zoe's 'never give up' attitude will carry her through this fight, along with the support from her twin sister Zanny, her family, and friends, both near and far. Leslie and Laci's main focus is to get Zoe the best treatment available. The out-of-pocket expense just to get treatment started has already been extremely expensive. Add on top of that, deductibles, co-pays, tests and scans, fertility preservation medications, travel expenses and so much more. The road ahead will mean time away from their employment and income as they seek the best possible care for Zoe. Insurance coverage only goes so far, and the bills are already adding up. Our goal is to help alleviate the financial burden that ensues so that my sister and her beautiful family can focus solely on their daughter while navigating through this difficult time.
