Burkhard was taken from this earth too quickly and unexpectedly. He was Regina’s lifelong partner and love of her life. You could feel their love just by the passion in her voice when she spoke of him. A love only some of us are lucky enough to experience, their love story had so many more chapters to be written. He loved her for the rest of his life but now she is left to try and conquer this next chapter of life without him. We would like to raise funds to assist in covering burial expenses and travel expenses. His three siblings and mother will be traveling from Germany, and to celebrate his life with those who loved him in Washington. Regina has always been so dedicated and loyal to all she encounters, never missing a beat to make sure they are all taken care of. At this time let’s wrap our arms around Regina so she is able to grieve and breathe a little lighter. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
