Letters with wings

Letters with wings bonds with artists and activists who are kept in prisons for their art or for practicing freedom of speech, or because they are fighting for human rights. On Poetry Day Ireland we collected more than 100 poetic letters to be sent to artists in prison for their art and/for defending their freedom of speech and human rights. 12 Nationalities have been addressed and 27 artists are waiting for our letters!
On 26th June we will gather again for an international poetry reading live on Facebook. We want to collectively raise money for printing the poetic letters and posting them. The reading will also be a great opportunity to raise awareness about artists in prison & freedom of speech.
