Support LGBTQ moms, 5yo daughter, and 18mo twins

From 2/24-3/1 I was in the hospital. Taken by ambulance, ED, ICU for two days and then a medical floor. I’ve been home for a couple of days now, but I’m still healing and resting. I had pneumonia and didn’t listen to my body until I could no longer breathe or stand up. As a result, my pneumonia turned into severe sepsis and almost killed me. Legitimately.

I’m grateful I’m on the healing path now. I have a PICC line and will be giving myself IV antibiotics for 4 weeks, but the infection itself is gone. I’m just trying to get back to somewhat normal. I’ve started this GoFundMe to help relieve the financial stress of me not working for at least a month. I’m working as an independent contractor in Home Health now, so I don’t have the same benefits I did before. All funds will go towards our monthly bills, daycare for the twins, and extra help around the house while I recover.

I appreciate all the love and support I have been receiving thus far. Today, please listen to your body, hug your loved ones, and live each day like your last. I love you all.
