Karen is an amazing woman: Mother to two beautiful girls, wife to Carlton. She is constantly giving back to the community as a volunteer at Gateway Church; she was the volunteer Field Trip Coordinator for SELAH for *seven* years; if you are in need, chances are Karen will be the first to help you out!

Now is our chance to give back to Karen during this precarious time. Despite her and her husband's full time jobs and Karen's part time work delivering food, they still aren't able to afford the medicine she needs for her Leukemia. She's gone without her meds since January 1,  and with COVID-19 spreading across Texas, she needs those meds more than ever.

Even with insurance, the Burton family has a hefty bill for the medicine: $3,460 per year (a $2,500 deductible and then $120 per month). The first $600 raised will allow her to get back on her medicine this month!
