To our dearest family and friends,
It saddens me to share with you the tragic loss of Leva (Levan), a son, a brother, an uncle, and a friend…someone who left this earth sooner than we had expected. On Tuesday, February 7th, Levan lost his life in the fire of our family home. Words cannot describe how devastating this loss is to our family.
Over the last few weeks, Leva was going through spiritual and mental struggles. He had multiple pastoral and hospital visits where he tried to get some answers and help to process his troubling thoughts and fears. Sadly he didn’t get the help he needed and was prematurely discharged from the hospital.
This traumatic loss comes so suddenly, as does the loss of our parents’ home. My parents and siblings who lived in that house lost all of their belongings. Everything was lost in that fire that took Leva’s life. My parents will have to rebuild and refurnish the home my family has lived in for the past 20+ years.
Leva was a wonderful brother, he had a very generous heart, and was always willing to help everyone out. He will be remembered as a funny, sweet, caring, goofy, down to earth, and kind person. He loved the outdoors and all things adventurous; like camping, fishing and boating. Leva could always put a smile on your face. We will dearly miss our happy and joyful brother.
We’re asking for help in covering the costs of funeral services, hospital bills, and some of the expenses incurred by the fire. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. May God bless you all.
We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and encouragement from all of those around us. Thank you immensely for all of your prayers, love and support during this challenging time for our family.
If you or anyone you know is struggling mentally or spiritually, please don’t be afraid to talk to someone. God loves you tremendously and will never forsake you.
* Funeral is set to take place on Friday, Feb. 17th at 10 am. Once it is confirmed, we will update you all. Thank you again, May God bless you all
