Levi Walker Jr. AKA former Chief Noc-a-Homa

Hello everyone, my name is Gwyn and I am starting this page for my Father, Levi Walker Jr. AKA former mascot for the Atlanta Braves baseball team Chief Noc-a-Homa from 1969-1985. He has long medical issues due to diabetes and been on dialysis for more than eight years.
On July 25 he was taken to the ER. He has been diagnosed with metabolic encephalopathy and seems disoriented at times. Before July 25 he was doing normal routine care for himself and may require help with these everyday self care when he arrives home.
He has many friends, fans and family members and you always ask “How can I help?” Well now is your chance to help out.
The medical bills are astonishing and overwhelming. His need for more medical supplies at this point in his life has grown extensively. He is a veteran and as you well know the VA only does so much.
To install an adequate handicap ramp alone was expensively priced due to cost of lumber and labor. The medical supplies cost to keep him able to have proper care grows at this stage in his life. Everyday we are getting more and more list for supplies he will need for home care when he arrives home.
He will still need to be transported three times a week on a forty-five minute route one-way to dialysis. Maintenance is a must on reliable transportation. Please find it in your heart if you are able to support your favorite mascot, friend, or family member.
Please share with as many friends as possible. Any amount of support would be appreciated by our family.
Your continued love & prayers are appreciated more than we can ever express. Thank you so much!
