Critical Need for Levolosi Hospital in Tanzania
Donation protected
Together, Andrea (of Italy), Minami (of Japan), and Mika (from America) are the three healthcare workers volunteering for the Medical Mission project with IVHQ this month at Levolosi, a 45-bed public hospital in Arusha, Tanzania.
Each of us were brought together from different parts of the world to serve in the resource restrained country of Tanzania with one of the lowest rates of access to health care in the world.
Your kind contribution to our site has been arranged to go directly to the hospital to serve their basic equipment needs in their in-patient services to treat those commonly challenged by HIV/AIDS, malaria, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, chronic respiratory diseases, and mental health conditions.
As we wrap up our volunteer work here, we reflect on our time spent in Tanzania with our views on simplicity that has changed forever and fully embrace the culture of ‘tuko pamoja’ (Swahili for ‘we are together’) and invite you to join us in improving the health conditions of Tanzania.
Asante (Thank you) and in divine love and friendship,
Andrea, Minami, and Mika
