Lew to compete in Commonwealth Championships in South Africa

Hi everyone!

If you don’t know me my name is Lewis Davies. I’m a U93kg powerlifter and I have been recently selected to compete for Wales internationally in the Commonwealth championships in South Africa in October.

My back story for powerlifting actually came from rugby…in 2022 I had a serious eye injury during a game of rugby (Broken eye socket and detached retina) which let me not to play rugby….furthermore I had surgery and gained a blood clot in my eye due to surgery failure. Fast forward I then started my powerlifting journey in 2023. I have competed for Wales twice and also a couple of other competitions held by Welsh Powerlifting.

This Go fund me will help me achieve this once in a lifetime opportunity to compete for Wales and represent Fishguard and Goodwick. With your help I could achieve this dream. All donations would be greatly appreciated.
