Hi, my name is Leanne.

I am setting up this GoFundMe for a very close friend of the family, who's son has very sadly and unexpectedly passed away age 10 on the 8th July 2024.

Although the full reason for his passing is not yet known, he had a seizure at home in his bed that he never came out of.

Lewis has been having unexplained seizures that were under investigation for some time but never received a diagnosis to what was causing them.

Lewis Dauncey-Jones was a very bright, intelligent and caring child who will be eternally missed by all and forever loved.

Lewis went to St Peters Junior School in Broadstairs, he will be greatly missed by pupils and teachers alike.

Lewis was a little genius in the making, full of facts and knowledge about many topics including World Wars, Flags, The Solar System and Geography. His life tragically ended far too prematurely, a life not yet lived.

I am setting this page up to help with funeral costs and extra expenses for the family to add their personal touches, and give Lewis the send off that he truly deserves.

Any donations, no matter how small will be so gratefully received in this time of tragedy.

Cara (mum) and Charlotte (sister) are going through an impossible time as you can imagine, to be able to take this burden away from them would mean a lot to not only them but all of us around them.
