LDN MARATHON for TSCT & Sienna

Hello everyone

Lets be honest nobody enjoys an extra long charity page so I'll (try) keep it short and sweet.

I AM RUNNING LONDON MARATHON 2023 THIS SUNDAY

Back in July 2019 my daughter Sienna became extremely unwell as a result of contracting an enterovirus, which ultimately ended up causing a Spinal Cord Injury and as a result she now has physical disabilities: a very weak left leg and scoliosis. Whilst Sienna was in ICU at LGI children's hospital, we were kindly offered accommodation at the The Sick Children's Trust which is located on the hospital grounds. This became our temporary home whilst Sienna recovered and eventually got to go home 5 weeks later. They provided us with a home away from home and have done the same for thousands of other families like us.

Having a physical disability has not stopped Sienna and she does all the activities other kids the same age enjoy to do, though with a little helping hand from her loved ones.

She's a very brave little soul who has to endure a private physio session every Tuesday as well as daily physio and stretches at home.

I am running (or attempting ) the London Marathon on 23/04 and would be over the moon to raise some money for TSCT and also a few pennies to put towards some home physio equipment for my little Sienna: in particular a Cyclo-Therapy Handheld Massager as this helps her massively.

Every quid helps, so please open your wallets/purses and donate a few quid so we can help other families in desperate need of help, just like we found ourselves back in 2019.
