Lexi is in the midst of a tough time. Lexi is a full-time student-athlete and recently had to quit her job to care for her mother, whose health is deteriorating and who has a mental and physical disability. On top of all of this, her car has broken down, and is without familial support.
Her mother has severe PTSD, which has caused Lexi to spend most of the last several months in and out of the hospital. Her mother's suffering is heartbreaking as she is mentally tormented daily which also causes her physical pain.
Lexi has been courageously and faithfully caring for her mother during this time and is now facing eviction (in 12 days) due to her having to quit her job to care for her mother. The state's help for her is 4 weeks out and she is facing homelessness this Christmas season.
Lexi has and is doing everything she can do to care for her mother and is bravely asking for your help.
Lexi has faith that God will provide for her in this season.
Would you consider meeting Lexi's need today with a simple gift however you can give? Whether it be $5 or $500, I implore you to bless Lexi.
A note from Lexi's professor -
Lexi is one of the greatest gifts of joy to our college. Each time Lexi walks into a room, she brings happiness and joy. Lexi is a motivated and driven individual. During her time in my class, Lexi participated with honesty and exuberance. Lexi was consistent in my class as well as being a vital piece to the culture of our college. From student events to chapel, she inserts herself for the betterment of the student body. I am so proud of Lexi in the midst of this difficult time and inspired by her love for her mother. She is such a brave young woman and her story is one of heroism and astonishing courage.
