Lexi’s picnic table & memorial bench Foxes Field

Hi everyone some of you may know or not about a beautiful little twin girl Lexi who was taken away from her twin sister & her family in her sleep . Her Mum Emma & her Dad Scott are absolutely amazing doing marathons & 20k runs for the Lullaby Trust to help other families going through what they are going through . I am actually blown away by their kindness , generosity & thoughtfulness for others when they themselves are in such pain & grief . I have been asked to help in rejuvenating our local childrens play park & apply to the council for a jubilee grant which we have submitted & hopefully will receive in October towards playground equipment. It is all extremely costly & everything we have considered within the budget needs to be doubled for installation & another 10% maintenance fees so that grant won’t go very far !

Lexi’s Mum Emma unbeknownst to me has been looking for a year now for a bench in Lexi’s name so I asked her yesterday if she’d consider doing a sponsored run with me for a bench for Lexi at Mottingham playground & she’s over the moon to help us achieve this fitting tribute in a place that Emma & her friends & family all grew up for her beautiful little girl .

Emma would like a childrens picnic bench so we are looking at what would be the most suitable for all the children in our community to use & benefit from , knowing now what I do the bench cost we need to double that & then add 10% onto that for the maintenance costs hence why I’m asking you all for your help towards this , we will do our sponsored run in September in honour of Lexi’s birthday & I hope that you can all contribute towards this , I know money is so tight atm for everyone so even a £1 will be so very much appreciated.
