LGBT refugees in the Kakuma camp in Kenya

Donation protected
Greetings from the Kakuma refugee camp.
My name is Marc, and I am a transgender girl, a victim of torture and sexual and physical harassment, living in the Kakuma camp in Kenya.
In the camp, we are several LGBT people who fled our home countries to seek asylum in Kenya due to our sexuality or gender identity.
However, we found the situation in the camp to be unwelcoming, miserable, and even life-threatening.
Amongst us, we have children, lesbians with unexpected pregnancies, transgender people, gay men, intersex people, and many other people.
We are looking for funds on behalf of my entire community of 23 people. Funds to ensure our daily meals, blankets, mattresses, medication, etc.
We strongly need everyone's help with this.

What's going on in the Kakuma refugee camp?

Kakuma Camp is located in Kenya. People from many countries seek refuge there to be in a safer situation hopefully.
The LGBT refugees are not only discriminated against in their own countries but also by other refugees of the Kakuma Camp. Because as LGBT people, we live in groups together on the same block at Kakuma 2, it's easier for us to be spotted and attacked, and the infrastructure meant to protect us can't protect us because they are weak.
We humbly request your support in any capacity because it makes a big difference for us here.

Thank you :)
