LGBTQI Church Plant

Hello everyone!
My name is Amie and I am a pastor starting a church in Beaverton Oregon. My story is a little complicated. I love Jesus with all my heart and I have an urgency to serve Him and serve my community.
I was serving in a local church here in Oregon, I was a volunteer. I was serving as their director of the women ministry, was on their worship team and taught a weekly bible study.
Everything was going well until they found out I was transgendered. From that point on, I was asked to step down and ultimately was told that I would never be able to serve in a reasonable capacity in that church. It was devastating. The friendships I had spent years creating, the work I had labored towards with everything inside of me was stripped away in a moments time. This was one year ago last October.
The pain, the grief, the rejection was too much to take. I didnt know what to do or who to turn to. I knew that the Lord was using me, he had used me to speak into peoples lives. He has used me to grow people in their faith towards him.
I was heart broken and rejected and it hurt. Some of my closest friends stuck by me and encouraged me to continue teaching, but I was mortified. I couldn't handle anymore rejection. But they encouraged me to keep teaching.
So we looked for a space to lease and I continued teaching. And it has been amazing. We started meeting Wednesday nights at an incredible church who knew I was trans and loved Jesus. As we have met, we have been able to really pour into the LGBT community and be a light for a community that has been rejected and spit out by the church as a whole. I have had the personal honor and privileged to baptize some from the community and watch them grow into beautiful gems.
In the midst of all this, we have decided to plant a church. And the current church where we lease a space on Wednesday nights have been so gracious to us. They have given us a bigger space to lease where we are able to start an actual church plant starting on Sundays.
We plan to launch this January. But the space needs a lot of renovations and we simply do not have the funds to get everything done that needs to get done. That is why we are asking for help. We want to get the space ready so that we can launch our church plant this January. Will you help us?
We are a bible believing church with a transgendered pastor who loves Jesus, loves his word, and love ALL people. We want to grow a community of believers who will be like minded and love all people. All are welcome. All have a seat at the table and the Lord is with us. I have seen Him move in our midst.
If you would be willing to help this would be an investment into eternity as we simply want to pour into our community and show them the true, biblical love of Jesus. There is so much to do, and we need your help.
Thank you for listening to my story. It means a lot to me that you read it and it means a lot more to me that you are moved to assist. Thank you.
