Liam Filbin's Eagle Scout Project

Hello, my name is Liam and I am raising money for my Eagle Scout Project. My project is to install four Little Free Libraries in parks around the Town of Dyer, Indiana. A Little Free Library is a free book-sharing box where anyone may take a book or bring a book to share. My goal through this project is to supply books for people around my community and promote reading in the younger and older generations.

I am part of Dyer Troop 510 and have been active in Scouting since the 1st grade. Since the beginning I have been working towards the rank of Eagle Scout. Part of the path to the rank of Eagle is to plan and supervise a task that will benefit the community.

The funds will go to purchasing the Little Free Libraries and all the supplies needed to build and install them.
