Liam Graves Memorial & Suicide Prevention Fund
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Megan. I'm setting up this fundraiser for my Uncle Billy and his wife Raven who just tragically lost their son.
This is my little cousin Liam. Liam has battled with mental health for a few years. Sadly he succumbed to his illness on 06/24/23, just a few days after his 20th birthday. As a family we are devastated. To lose him in such a way is an absolute shock and tragedy that will haunt us forever. He was a much loved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin. For Billy and Raven, losing their child so quickly and unexpectedly has left them in absolute shock and despair. They have been living in Michigan the past few years with their daughters and are now scrambling to pull money together and get down to Virginia Beach to handle the arrangements, while going through the hardest thing they have ever had to face.
For those of you who knew Liam, the real Liam, you were the lucky ones. He would light up a room with his smile, it was infectious. Liam loved skateboarding and music and making people around him laugh. Through this page we not only want to give Liam the send off he deserves and get his family down to Virginia Beach, but also bring light to the suicide epidemic. Such a permanent decision often made because of a temporary problem, has life long devastating outcomes that ripples across our society.
We are reaching out for any support to help fund his funeral and get Billy, Raven and the girls down to Virginia. Any donation would be extremely appreciated. Any money exceeding funeral costs will be donated in Liam's name to The American Foundation of Suicide Prevention. Thank you all for taking the time to read. Every penny helps. ♥️
