Liam Mroz Mathews, we love you.

Our gentle giant, Liam Mroz Mathews, tragically and suddenly left us on Friday, 10/4/24, at 15 years old.

He was a much-loved member of so many compartments of our community.

Liam was headed home to his family, but God decided it was time to call him to his eternal home instead. In what comfort we can take, we know Liam was strong of faith; he shared that often and boldly.

He was tremendously kind and talented.

He loved heavy metal, lacrosse, his people; and would always take seconds but was very conscious to make sure everyone had firsts.

His family feels the love of our community and while they grieve, they are uplifted by the thoughtful embrace so many have offered.

Many have asked how they can help. No gesture or prayer is wasted. If you feel compelled to help lighten the financial burden his family will be left with, please do. Any contributions will be used towards uncovered medical expenses, burial and resting costs, and continued therapeutic support of his family and dear friend that was with him in his last moments.

Please keep him in your hearts. Our love goes with him, but his stays here with us.
