Liam Gives Back
Donation protected
On Thursday, July 30, 2015, our son Liam was run over while on a bike ride with his dad. Liam and Matt are both avid cyclists, and it's one of their favorite activities. Liam was in his WeeHoo Bike trailer, wearing his fully enclosed Pryme Gear V2 helmet. The SUV ran over Liam's head. Liam, by the grace of God, has come home with a couple scrapes and 2 broken fingers. The emergency response from the town of Medway, Boston MedFlight, and UMass Memorial was unbelievable. Each of these professionals said that without his helmet, Liam would no longer be with us.
The outpouring of love and support since this event has been amazing. So many people, strangers, have asked how they can help us. With our Liam home safe, we are wealthy and blessed beyond our wildest dreams. However, we want to harness this positivity for the greater good.
Therefore, we are establishing this fundraiser in Liam's name. Our goal is to raise funds to supply our local police departments (Medway, Franklin, and surrounding towns) with a stock of helmets (Pryme) to allow all kids to enjoy our favorite outdoor activities safely. It's a rarity that a story like ours has such a good outcome, we want to make it more common. Thank you!
