Liam’s Brave Battle

Hello,

Liam Abbot has been fighting a crazy battle in his life. He was recently diagnosed with Burkitt Lymphoma.

“Liam has been diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma. Surgeons were able to remove his tumour and reconstruct his bowels. Liam begins chemo tomorrow. We have been living at McMaster for over two weeks now and met with his oncologist team and learned that Liam will be required to stay in hospital for the chemo and may be able to come home by Christmas. Liam will also be spending his 10th birthday in hospital as he starts chemo treatment. He’s my fighter my hero. ❤️❤️”

Update:

Liam’s having a really hard time adjusting to the NJ tube in order to make sure he’s getting all his medication in and help support his feedings. It’s been a very stressful and traumatizing time for him and myself. He’s frustrated, tired and emotionally exhausted. We’ve had to give him sedative to relax him in order for him to calm. I would do anything to take all this away for him. My heart breaks for him every moment but I will be with him every step. Love my hero Liam my fighter. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
