This is Libby, she was diagnosed with diabetes just after her 7th birthday. Since then she has had at least 7,300 needles. It is time for the needles to stop. She has been approved to get a pump. The government is paying a portion which leaves her family with a 4800 dollar bill plus 1600 a year for supplies. This cost is not covered by the family's insurance and is staggering for the family. Libby and her mom, Tina, often have sleepless nights, yet they continue to get up every morning and face the days with positive attitudes. They have already raised 2300 but need help to get the rest.
