Libby Needs Your Help for Classroom Snacks

Hey everyone! My name is Libby and I teach ELA to 7th and 8th graders at a Title 1 school in Los Angeles County.

Since COVID, I have decided to dedicate a section of my classroom to what I call the snack section. I have bottled water (big bottles not the small ones, plastics are bad!), individually wrapped healthy snacks, and refrigerated snacks for my students. For years, I've spent my own money each month to stock it, but times are tough, and my budget has had to be adjusted because of family needs, so it's an expense that I'm having a hard time with.

I am asking for $500 to fund the last 3 months of school's snacks and to replenish the paper products for said snacks, like cups for water, plates, utensils and paper towels.

Anything helps! I will be going to the Dollar Tree and other discount stores to get these supplies and will post updates every month to share what I was able to buy for the kids. I especially would like to try to incorporate some fresh fruits...I'm hoping a budget of $125 a month can make that happen!
