Liberation Farm...A Black Vegan Farm
Donation protected
Hello, we are Liberation Farm stewards Nadia Muyeeb and Omowale Adewale. Remember our space 2020-2022? Well we now steward the largest Black and Vegan space in South Kortright, NY (Delaware County). That's not bragging! That illustrates the magnitude of the possibility! From then till now, we have grown numerous vegetable varieties, fruit and herbs and hosted weekend camps and retreats for individuals, couples and families. Check out our beet, okra, collards, and grape tomatoes. We have an open-door policy for ALL Black people looking to escape the city or the mundane. We are a Black space!
We own the name and we are renting some of the equipment and rehabilitated structures on the property. We request support to purchase the farm and farm equipment to meet our vast goals which is now $700,000. However, the owner is willing to be paid over two decades!
Our goal is to create a membership of the Black Cooperative Development. That is a placeholder name. We plan to offer healing and farming opportunities, a safe place to rest and build businesses and live!
You possess the ability to help significantly with this ordeal. We have given so much over the years, not just the thousands of guests who have attended Black VegFest. You can do the same by supporting us!
Liberation Farm is a Black Space. Do something radical today. Learn about Liberation Farm, and then support us.
