Liberty Fashion & Lifestyle Fairs needs your help to fundraise meals for frontline healthcare workers at NYC hospitals and those in need. Please feel free to share this message with your network–we would greatly appreciate it!
WHY WE’RE DONATING
In the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, our frontline healthcare workers are working long hours, often at risk of their own health and safety. Many are unable to leave their exhaustive shifts due to the current strain on all of NYC’s hospitals. This includes taking the time to feed themselves. We’d like to take care of those who are already selflessly putting in the time and effort to take care of us, by delivering prepared meals directly to them at their hospital sites.
Another ramification of COVID-19 is its impact on small businesses. Already, the economic realities have hit our favorite local shops and restaurants. We would like to alleviate some of that economic burden by directly disbursing funds to local restaurants, so that they may do what they do best–create tasty, nutritious food for hungry healthcare workers.
GOALS
100% of the proceeds (aside from GoFundMe’s fees) will go towards restaurant partners in the creation and delivery of meals to the hospitals who currently need it the most.
