Imagine visiting a school where there are only a handful of books for the entire student body. In Liberia, many schools face this harsh reality, with a desperate need for resources to support eager students who thirst for knowledge. These students deserve the opportunity to have access to quality educational resources, and with your help, we can provide them with the educational tools they need to succeed.

Since 2022, Library for Africa has been working tirelessly to support underserved schools in Liberia. We’ve made progress, but there's so much more to be done. We are now raising funds to build the first-ever public library in Bentol City, Liberia—an exciting milestone that will serve as a cornerstone for literacy and education for generations to come.

Beyond the public library, our mission includes establishing libraries within schools, providing books and learning materials, and promoting literacy across Liberia. Your support can help bring these resources to life and create lasting change in the communities that need it most.
