Life After Covid for the 3rd time

I am still recovering from Covid-19. I was hospitalized for a little over a month due to Covid. I have no way to take care of bills and needs since I don’t qualify for unemployment or short term disability due to me not meeting the 18 month requirement of the state. My applications were rejected by my employer as well due to time limits. I am home under care of a home health agency because I came home unable to eat so I have a Picc line and fed TPN for the next six weeks. It is hard to recover worrying about work, money, and health. I also have medications that I need that aren’t covered by my insurance.

This is my 3rd time having Covid and hospitalized because of it. I am fully vaccinated and still has horrible illness. I was in the hospital for 4 days and I’ve been home on oxygen and steroid treatment until further notice. I honestly feel without being vaccinated it could have been worse. I’m thankful to be alive. This time around I thankfully didn’t have DVT ( blood clots) as I did my second time I was affected by Covid.

Now I am behind on everything just trying to survive through all of this. Every card I have is maxed out simply trying to stay afloat. Between food, rent, and simply buying groceries I am beyond struggling.

I am hoping to come off of the oxygen soon since I’ve completed the steroid treatment this week. I am still having breathing issues so my oxygen has been decreased and I’m taking an inhaler as well. I’m to see my doctor soon for X-rays to be sure I have no permanent damage to my lungs.
